What is psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune skin condition that speeds up the growth cycle of skin cells. This causes cells to build up rapidly on the surface of the skin, forming scales and red patches that can be itchy and sometimes painful. Psoriasis is an immune system dysregulation that causes skin cells to regenerate faster than normal.
